Black and White Photography
For several years, I have been photographing mainly in black and white. It's my way of seeing the true nature of life, without artifice and without distractions.
Black and white photography has always been part of my life. Over 30 years ago, this way of seeing intrigued me. This way of seeing has since allowed me to see what lies under the first layer of information, under the superficial, the decorative, the color.
When I shoot, I like to see the relationship between space and matter. What I capture allows me to see this space, a space that's always determined by matter. Things take place in space and it is this organization that catches my eye and forces me to play with it, and take or build the final picture.

Sometimes color is essential.
It adds life and transports us elsewhere. This is where color it has its place and allows us to travel further in the image.
I like to use color for what it is and what it can add to an image. If it doesn't have an impact, I prefer black and white.
On the other hand, if it does the job and improves the image by being there, it's earned its place and is part of the message.
Do not speak unless it improves on silence. (Buddha)
I really like this quote and for me it also applies to color.

For me, the mix of work and passion is a way of exploring the things that make me vibrate and try to extract their photographic DNA.
I've always believed that the best way to enjoy life is to combine passion with work. This is what I have always tried to do with my photography.
I believe that we are always a better creator of images when we work with a subject that fascinates us and that we know.
